Teaching is both rewarding and enjoyable, however it can also be challenging and exhausting. This online course will help you to strengthen the knowledge and strategies that you have already learned, as well as consider a new perspective on teaching that will enable you to navigate every day challenges in your classroom. You will discover how to be more proactive than reactive. Learn how to step back, adjust your focus, and get to the root of problems. In addition, you will add some new tools to your teaching toolbox which build on positive interactions with your students.

Hi! I'm Cindy and I'd love to help you grow your knowledge and skills in order to create joyful homes and schools! I have over 25 years of experience in education, as a classroom teacher, serving as a professional development specialist, and now supporting schools, parents, and organizations as an educational consultant.
Here's a little bit of information about me...I have a master’s degree in education and I am certified as a teacher, reading specialist, administrator, and positive parenting educator. I speak at local, state, and national conferences on Parenting, Growth Mindset, Design Thinking, Literacy, Effective Classroom Management & Instruction, Trauma-informed Classrooms, and Social & Emotional Learning. I also present workshops for teachers, parents and administrators in schools and other organizations. In addition, I am a consultant for West Chester University, designing and presenting workshops for businesses that focus on the essential skills managers need most: Social and Emotional Intelligence and Growth Mindset.
